Wedding registries are such a great way to help newlyweds kickstart their new life together, and they make gift-giving a breeze! However, some couples get a little flustered when it comes to creating their wedding registry. Picking out the right items from the right stores can seem daunting, but I have some great tips to help you get started!

So what exactly should you include in your wedding registry? Let me help!

  • Include your needs AND wants

While you want to make sure you include plenty of necessities in your registry, don't be afraid to add some special things that you want but don't necessarily have to have! Think about including some things you would use for your favorite hobby!

  • The sooner the better

Get that registry done sooner rather than later! You don't want to be worrying about your registry when you are doing your wedding planning, and it gives people options when shopping for your pre-wedding celebrations.

  • Create your registry TOGETHER

You and your significant need to be making this together! These items will be both of yours, and you should be on the same page.

  • Find the sweet spot

Many people disagree on how many stores you should be registered at. I think that 2-3 stores are a great place to start, but make sure to find your own sweet spot!

  • Choose an array of price ranges

All of your wedding guests probably don't have the same budget for your gift. Make it easier on them by having a broad price range.

  • The more the merrier

While I only recommend registering at a few stores, I believe the more items the better! It gives people plenty of options to choose from, especially if someone buys you more than one gift.
